Our History // David H Allan Group

The David H Allan Group was established in 1994. Since then, it has evolved into one of Scotland’s main commercial building contractors, delivering all aspects of construction and refurbishment work. 

The Group’s origins date back to 1983, when David H Allan Joiners &    Builders was set up by our founder, David H. Allan. The company provided high quality joinery, shopfitting and building services to a wide range of clients.

McArthur Bros. was acquired in 1986 to add electrical services to the Group and augment the trade package.

Ten years later in 1996, Decorall joined the Group, bringing painting and decorating to the portfolio of services.

Buchanan Plumbing & Mechanical Services is the fourth member of the Group, providing plumbing and mechanical services expertise from 2007.

      - FLOORALL - 

Floorall Flooring was started up by our Group in 2010 to add yet another trade to our Group's multi-trade package. Floorall offers a wide range of hard & soft flooring options for a quality & attractive floor finish on all projects. 

George Allan is now Managing Director of David H Allan Group, following the retirement of David H. Allan.
