Project Description
Project Value: £1.4 M
Project Duration: 25 weeks
We refurbished several areas in the Royal Alexandra Hospital to provide upgraded accommodation for our client.
We converted a large existing ward to form an Acute Medical Unit [AMU] which comprises an upgraded ward space, medical consultation rooms, nurse station areas, offices, a pharmacy, a kitchen and storage rooms. Adjacent to the new AMU we also stripped out vacant office space to form a Medical Assessment Unit which involved the creation of several treatment bays as well as new offices and storage areas.
In addition to these works we also refurbished and fitted out a large section of an additional ward [Ward 6] to provide further revamped ward space, offices, medical and storage rooms as well as other accommodation throughout.
All our works were completed adjacent to live fully operational departments in the hospital.
