We carried out a major refurbishment of the prisoner processing facilities in Cathcart Police Station which included the renovation of 58 prisoner cells, corridor areas, interview rooms, a doctors' surgery and kitchens/serveries as well as the upgrading of the main charge bar area. This project also involved the construction of a new build extension onto the existing police station to provide a communal prisoner holding area off the main reception.
In addition, this project required some external works including hard and soft landscaping as well as the installation of a new access security gate and car park repairs.
Our works on this project were carried out within a live and fully operational Police Station.
